Terms of service

Last updated: 1 November 2026

These terms apply when you use GymBody, the website getgymbody.com, the gym dashboard and the member app. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them.

1. The service

GymBody helps gyms manage members, plans, fees, attendance, staff and workouts, and gives their members an app. The exercise library on our website is free for everyone.

2. Your account

  • Give correct details and keep access to your email, since that is how you log in.
  • The gym owner is responsible for the staff accounts they create and what those staff do.
  • Tell us at once if you think someone else is using your account.

3. Free trial, plans and payments

  • A new gym gets a 14-day free trial with no payment details needed.
  • To continue after the trial, the owner picks a plan. Prices are shown on our pricing page.
  • Plans renew automatically every month or year through Razorpay until cancelled.
  • If a renewal payment fails, the gym has a short grace period; after that the account becomes read-only until it is paid. Nothing is deleted.

4. Cancelling

The owner can cancel at any time from Billing in the dashboard. The plan stays active until the end of the period already paid and does not renew after that. Payments are not refunded; see our Refund & cancellation policy.

5. Your data

The data a gym puts into GymBody belongs to the gym. The gym is responsible for having its members' and staff's consent to keep their details and to send them messages, and for following WhatsApp's and other messaging rules. We use the data only to provide the service, as described in our Privacy policy.

6. Fair use

  • Do not use GymBody to send spam or messages people have not agreed to.
  • Do not try to reach other gyms' data, break the service or copy it.
  • Do not upload content that is unlawful or that you have no right to share.

7. Exercise guides are not medical advice

The exercise pictures, steps and plans are general information. Check with a doctor or a qualified trainer before starting a new workout, especially if you have an injury or a health condition. Stop if something hurts.

8. Availability and changes

We work to keep GymBody running at all times, but short interruptions can happen for maintenance or reasons outside our control. We may improve or change features; if a change takes away something a paying gym relies on, we tell them first.

9. Responsibility

GymBody is provided as it is. As far as the law allows, our total responsibility for any claim is limited to what the gym paid us in the 12 months before it, and we are not responsible for indirect losses such as lost profit.

10. Ending the service

You can stop using GymBody at any time. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms, after a warning where possible. A gym can ask for a copy of its data before its account is closed.

11. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes go to the courts of India.
